        I think this would make sense if LiveReload could inject an alert into the page in the browser.

        In my opinion this doesn't make sense to be at this level – tools like Sublime Text allow you to automatically run JSHint/Lint whilst typing which is much preferable.

        I use JSHInt. However this feature does not make sense if there is not UI to enable/disable rules in the Linter used. That way you are only prompted with the rules that actually apply to your coding style.
