Planned as one of the top features of LiveReload 3.
I think it would be cool to add autoprefixer postprocessing feature to livereload.
User provides a list of regular expressions to match folders and files to monitor or ignore updates on.
Could follow the user-friendly minimatch style:
The option "Folders to exclude:" doesn't let me select a hidden folder ('.xy'-type on OSX). My CMS does some stuff in hidden files and folders, thus the browser gets caught up in an endless loop...
Or is there a trick to this?9 votes
Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't look like generating source maps is available for LESS, just SASS. Is this on a road map? I'd love to have this feature. Thanks!6 votes
Sometimes I work on files called by ajax function. I don't need to reload the pages where livereload is activated.
It will be useful to set a shortkey to quickly activate/deactivate livereload.4 votes
I like this idea, but I’m not sure whether a shortcut is the best UI/UX for that. Ideas welcome.
It would be helpful for LiveReload to sniff for git branches and allow you to only have LiveReload be activated for certain branches, or have separate settings for various branches. Sometimes with switching branches I get the never-ending error message overflow when I don't want files to be compiled.
When launching post-processing command, you use a login shell.
On my system: /usr/local/bin/zsh --login -c '...'
Login shell is *slow*. It has fancy prompt, auto-completion, start-up subscripts, aliases and overrides, etc. It's used for interactive sessions. It's not needed for running scripts. It takes ~5s to start on my system. Fine for a terminal session, no good for script which runs every time i press »Save».
Please use /bin/sh instead.3 votes
When there is a css with a hash url attribute, such as below, it gets converted and breaks it:
The hashed anchor lives in the html document, not in the stylesheet.1 vote
Hi, I just bought live reload and love it! Im also coding in SASS now and the only thing that's bothering me is that Chrome DevTools still shows the line numbers from style.css and I'd like to see the style.scss line numbers. My brother mentioned that I could setup source mapping with Chrome but I've never done this before and couldn't figure out how to get it setup with livereload following this tutorial - https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/css-preprocessors
I tried this -> http://grab.by/PqRm but no joy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!1 vote
